Courtyard Patio Transformation

This project showcases a dramatic transformation of a neglected courtyard space into a beautiful, functional patio area. The original space was uneven with poor drainage and aged materials. We began by completely clearing and excavating the area, installing proper drainage channels to prevent water pooling. A solid foundation was built using compacted hardcore and MOT Type 1 sub-base. The patio was finished with light-colored porcelain tiles, chosen for their low maintenance, durability, and contemporary appearance. Treated timber edging provides clean borders and structural support. The result is a bright, inviting outdoor space that has completely transformed the character of this courtyard, making it an ideal spot for relaxing and entertaining.
